Every year, BeardBoy and I get a beautiful enormous tree to fill our apartment -- we have 20' ceilings, so a huge tree is one of those luxuries that just seems ... right, you know? But BeardBoy's favorite winter tradition is not the classy and elegant monster Balsam Fir, but the nerdy little rosemary tree that lives on the kitchen table.

Here we are, almost a year later.

I have had so many projects over the course of the last several months, it would be exhausting to try to track them all down and recount them. So, instead, I'm going to focus on the newest thing I've been doing -- spinning.

The cake is a lie

Baking update this month! I've been working on a bunch of crafty things, but none of them are really worth showing off in-progress shots, so I'm going to wait til they're finished to post them here. But this is a thing that happened yesterday!

Quick note!

I'm hoping to have more to announce soon (I did actually open my Etsy store, but I don't want to make a big deal announcement about it yet, as I haven't really stocked it and honestly would be a little horrified if anyone bought anything quite yet!), but in the meantime, here's a thing I built during one of the blizzards that has slammed my city into the ground.

Quick little update

So, I will have a bunch to share (eventually) about Christmas giving, but either a) I haven't gotten pictures yet, or b) I can't spoil surprises, so instead, here's a Christmas present for someone who has zero chance of stumbling across this little corner of the internet.
